Winter. What can one say about it except that it’s cold, cloudy, and rainy? Even though the sun shines from time to time it is not warm, it only gives light for us to enjoy the day.
When the snow and ice comes, we cannot go outside because it is freezing. Ice covers the roads, so one cannot travel. I like Winter, but it is hard to have fun though.
I will be so excited when Spring comes. I enjoy seeing the flowers bloom. I love the way the air smells in the morning, and the sunsets in the evening. I enjoy seeing the new baby birds flying around strengthening their wings. I enjoy seeing the new baby squirrels run and play.
It is alright to go outside in the Winter to do the things you have to do, such as shopping and going to work, or just to get a breath of fresh air.
When I was younger, going out in the cold did not bother me as much, but now that I am older it does. It makes me congested. I get cold really fast as compared to when I didn’t. Things about a persons body change as they get older. Sometimes it is hard to do the things that were once easy, but now isn’t.
All in all it is a part of life, but I am just tired of the Winter blues. ©2022
