Making Paper

Today is another work day for me. As tired as I am, I still must go and make that paper. It is hard sometimes, but one has to do what one has to do to have what one wants and needs.

I deal with people and their personalities on a daily basis. I follow the rules, but there are those who complain about it because they feel they are above the law. I will do what I have to do to keep what I have been given by God.

I cannot disobey the law concerning my job. It doesn’t matter to me if they get mad because I do my job. People will do anything to get another person in trouble. I am not going down that road. I will protect myself at all costs.

If I don’t do my job correctly, then what kind of example am I setting for future generations? What will I be leaving behind for them to think about? We have to set good examples for them because they are our future leaders and decision makers.

There is nothing wrong with following rules that are set before us, just like its nothing wrong with following rules on your job. Rules are made to be followed, not broken.

Sometimes you have to break a rule if what you are doing is out of your control. Things happen sometimes where you have to do what you have to do to get the job done, it’s not that you want to break the rule, things just happened that way.

There are times when one may have to stay over an hour or two to make sure they have everything done that needs to be done concerning their job, and sometimes not, but whatever the case is, one always want to cover themselves. No one wants the jacket of blame put on their back.

We may not always do what we want to do, but we do what we have to do to get the job done so that everything will come out right in the end. Everyday is different from the next even if we are doing the same job. Personalities are different, conversations are different, needs are the same but in some ways different. Helping hands are there to help those who may need help and the blessings are passed on.

From day to day love is shown one to another. Skin color doesn’t matter, only people. I see God working in people everyday. It is so amazing how some people care about others and doesn’t even know their names. I see it like this, Jesus knows everyone’s name and that’s all that matters. If the whole world was this way, just seeing people, helping one another, and showing and sharing God’s love, it would be a great place to live in. Until that happens, it will always be the way that it is…completely unruly.

At the end of the day I can truly say I saw God in others. Making paper. ©2022
