Today is one of those days when you just want to sit and watch movies all day long. There is not any sun shining to brighten up the day, even it was not giving warmth. Looking at the leaves turn brown lets me know that Fall is still here, and that Winter is on the way. Some days the sun shine and it is not warm, and sometimes it shines and it is hot, but sometimes not so hot. Now we are wishing for the warmth it gives just like in the Summer, but now it is time for the season to change.
Cold and cloudy days and nights will always be. It is something that’s hard to get used to especially if you are like me; the coldness chills me to the bone. Even on those days it’s pretty. Cloudy days makes me think of my childhood. I think about how we would all be at school sitting in the classroom watching it rain while waiting for the day to come to an end. On those days, we couldn’t go outside and play. Those were the days.
This is the time of year for hot chocolate. It is the time of year for beverages that will warm us on the inside. It is the time of year for pulling out hats, scarves,boots, gloves, and jackets to keep us warm when we go outside. This is the time of year when we prepare for the Winter storms by stocking upon what we will need when those things happen. This is a beautiful season just as the other seasons that come and go year after year. We know it will be days when the rain will fall, and the sun may or may not shine, but yet and still it gives the feelings of love and joy. I hope this will be a great Christmas season, and a great new year that’s on its way. Well with that being said, Merry Christmas everyone!
