Poppy…Small, but a Pretty Flower

Looking at these flowers, I can see the beauty in them even though they are small. I had to look them up to see what kind of flower it was. From what I saw, there are many different colors.

I love all kinds of flowers. I wish I could turn my backyard into a giant flowergarden. I think this year I want to buy me some potted plants and replant them in my yard. I also want to plant some edible flowers that I can use in a salad, or wherever I want to add them in a dish.

When I am around flowers, I feel so relaxed, calm, and peaceful. It is something about the colors that makes them so vibrant. The smell of flowers has a sweet smell that cannot be copied in my opinion. I would love to have a space where I could grow wildflowers that last all year long. It’s something about flowers that makes a yard look pretty, and when they are growing beside the road in the country they look like a picture out of a picturebook.

When I was growing up in the country, there were so many flowers in our yard, including cacti. I remember playing outside in the yard enjoying the beauty of the flowers. I like taking flowers and putting them in my hair to make it look better; well it always looks good. Flowers are used for so many things in good times and in bad times to cheer us up. They are given when someone has a baby, on prom. Flowers are the gift that brightens up any room. Whether they are artificial or real, they’re beautiful. My favorite flower of all time is the rose. It is just something about the smell of it, and how it is shaped with all of the petals. I look at roses and I see a story being told petal by petal. Roses with thornes have to be handled carefully, we appreciate them more. Roses without thornes are just as beautiful because one can enjoy them even more.

Take sometime out to smell the flowers and enjoy the beauty of them. Make an arrangement to add to your table; put them wherever you want them to brighten any room in your home,or office. Until next time enjoy the beauty of the flowers that are around you.
