We have been in the new year for eleven days now, and we still have not received a blanket of snow. I thought that we would because we got some in 2021. It has been cold but not like it has been being in the other years. I cannot complain though. I can still go outside and enjoy myself if I want to. I can still see the birds play in my yard. All of the trees have not lost their leaves as of yet, but I guess it just isn’t time, or maybe mother nature just doesn’t want them to. I am enjoying this Winter though. The sun still shines, it’s not too cold either. I just hope it doesn’t be so hot this coming Summer, but I am ready for Spring to come. I am ready to see the wildflowers bloom in my yard so I can do some flower arrangements.
Well, I really wanted to see some snow because I wanted to take some pictures like I did before. I will have to check to see if I still have some in my media that I can share. I like the smell of Winter, but I don’t like the coldness of it. I enjoy dressing according to the season especially if I really have to go out in it. Winter is a beautiful season, but it can be dangerous in some places when the snow falls very heavy. I remember those times whenever I was growing up living in the country. I did not like it when things would freeze over and knock out the powerlines. Nevertheless, it is Winter and it is going to be what it is going to be snow or not.
